Effluent Treatment method consists of the following processes: Coagulation, Flocculation, Sedimentation, Filtration, Chlorination and Softening. For the best results these processes should be followed in sequence. The water so treated can be used again for any industrial or other process. In some effluent plants however, sedimentation/ settling units are used again for any industrial or other process. In some effluent plants however, sedimentation/ settling units are used for primary as well as for secondary treatment of solid-liquid separation.
